| Champs' Camp History |
“Excellent Shooting isn’t all about shooting. It’s all about excellence."
Champs’ Camp was established in 2004 committed to the mission of providing young shooters with a safe and structured environment in which to learn proven techniques for achieving excellence and enjoying the pursuit of perfection under the most strenuous competitive environments. The results of our approach of offering training in both physical techniques and the mental game speak for themselves. The National Sporting Clays Association named 27 Champs’ Campers to their Junior (ages 16-20) and Sub-Junior (age 15 and under) 2012 All-American Teams. Eleven Camps’ Campers were named to TEAM USA which represents the NSCA in international competition. Seven Champs’ Campers have earned college scholarships to pursue their competitive shooting career at the collegiate level.

| Hands-on Training |
The Champs’ Camp “system” consistently improves young competitors’ self-image and confidence that has been applied not only to competitive shooting but also to school or other athletic activities. Learning how to accept both pressure and occasional failure are key to competing at the highest levels in any sport. Champs’ Camp provides both classroom instruction in the mental game as well as actual “hands-on” training that can be taken home and practiced. The camp setting is also ideal to build new friendships and relationships in the sporting clays community that may endure for years or a lifetime. Many Champs’ Campers remain close-knit and support each other while competing at the highest levels. A true testament to sportsmanship and an attitude of respect for themselves and their fellow competitors.
